Wow. Really brings back memories. Another of my toys was a complete moonbase with floor mat, buildings, rockets, missiles (really shot, wouln't be allowed now), transport vehicles (some with hidden wheels so they looked like they were hovering), and radar station. I can't remember if it came with a space monster that was activated by a pull-cord or whether that was just just another toy I tossed into the play.

ReplyDeleteI got a birthday card in about 1964 that unfolded into quite a nice space station about 12" in diameter.
