Armed Forces posters of McClelland Barclay
McClelland Barclay (1891-1943),was born in St. Louis,and received his education at the St. Louis Museum of Fine Arts and the Art Students League in New York.
Barclay also prepared designs for experimental camouflage for different types of Navy combat aircraft. Evaluation tests, however, showed that pattern camouflage was of little, if any, use for the aircraft.
