Have Gum, Will Travel

Have Gun-Will Travel gum cards

Didn't know these existed until recently. Always liked Paladins early first season "work suit"with the little tie.

See the tie, get ready to die...

Red Phantom

For  some reason, the Ghost Who Walks has been shown with a red costume in some parts of the world, instead of the purple we  have seen for 70 or 80 years.

I guess we were just as bad as the kids we ridicule today...

...when it comes to common sense . This bit of plastic from 1963  would be $2 in today's money. Not a big waste, but a  complete one. The beauty of it is you need to keep buying the candy to make it a rocket :) And what kid isn't gonna keep needing refills? Brilliant marketing!

T-Model Tommy

T-Model Tommy  was a 1938 "young adult" novel by  Stephen W. Meader, who authored over forty such books. The characters either overcome some adversity, or live through some historic event as the eyes for the reader.

I read this book in grade school, in the spring of 1970 as I recall. A very good book for easing  a youngster into the harsher realities of adulthood.
