Fractured Fairy Tales was a segment of the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon show in the early 1960s
Fractured Fairy Tales presented familiar fairy tales and children's stories, but with storylines altered and modernized for humorous effect. This segment was narrated by Edward Everett Horton;June Foray, Bill Scott, Paul Frees, and an uncredited Daws Butler often supplied the voices.
Gold Key produced a single issue of the title, dated October 1962. Mel Crawford* did the art, interior and cover, in the style of Jay Ward, the creator of the TV original.
Here is a story from that issue.
*some say Al Kilgore did the cover. The SCRIPTED the book , seems strange to me he'd do just the cover. Of course, maybe the Crawford credit is wrong. Shrug.
