Let's get this batch underway with The Atom #28 (December-January 1967). Gil Kane drew separate versions of nearly the same action. Nice.

The Andru-Esposito team did the same for The Brave and the Bold #38 (October-November 1961)

Ross and Mike again,  Showcase #40 (September-October 1962)

Curt Swan's Li'l Lois seems a bit older than Kurt Schaffenberger's interior page version. Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #10 (July 1959)

Two views of almost the same instant by  Carmine Infantino, Mystery in Space #84 (June 1963)

Joe Kubert drew both the cover and splash to  Our Army at War #90 (January 1960), yet somehow th 2nd rifle on the right is leaning a different direction.

Recently departed Irwin Hasen pencils and Bob Oksner inks on this same scene, redrawn in All-Star Comics #47 (June-July 1949)

Ross Andru and Jerry Grandenetti cover, Irv Novick interior. Different colors and POV. All-American Men of War #87 (September-October 1961)

Classic Comics # 30, September 1946. Don Rico art on both. No ring of fire on cover image, idol is rotated a little bit on splash. 

Star Spangled Comics #85 (October 1948). Foreground figured revered, igloos on hill . Jim Mooney drew both. 

Mooney again the next month. Artwork reused.

Comic Book Cover / Splash Page Clones, Part 26




Mike Shayne Private Eye #1 (November-January 1962). Cover possibly by Vic Prezio , interior by Edd Ashe. Car on cover is a small (for the day) Chrysler or Dodge sedan , sort of a Valiant  with fins added. Inside it's a larger coupe, much like a Coronet.



Joe Gallagher drew this cover, repeated on the splash page, for  All-Star Comics #19 (Winter 1943-44)




Looks like they used elements from Dick Sprang's splash page  for the cover of  Detective Comics #102 (August 1945)



Gil Kane did both the splash and cover for Green Lantern #17 (December 1962), yet the blue suit guy is much older on the cover.



 Mystery in Space #85 (August 1963). The Infantino /  Anderson team did the cover and splash, which are almsost identical except for the angle of the ground.




Russ Heath drew both...slightly different angle, team in different positions.Sea Devils #9 (January-February 1963)

Comic Book Cover / Splash Page Clones, Part 25

Mirrored, recolored . Art by  Tony Abruzzo. Girls' Love Stories #136 (July 1968)

Completely different artwork. Note uniform, helmet, ammo belt. Showcase #45 (July-August 1963). Cover by Russ Heath, Splash page by Joe Kubert. Very interesting take on same scene.

Our Fighting Forces #72 (November 1962). Jerry Grandenetti did both, but there are minor differences. Pooch changes color, Gunner loses a sleeve.

Once again Gunner loses a sleeve, but Sarge loses his backpack.Our Fighting Forces #70 (August 1962). Kubert cover, Grandenetti splash page.

Our Fighting Forces #75 (April 1963), same art duties. On the splash, Gunner loses a helmet, but the bridge gains a pier.

The artists switched positions on this one, Our Fighting Forces #74 (February 1963). Localegors from field to beach, barbed wire style changes.
