Barbie & Ken Comic 1962

An early cross-promotion for a toy, this series was produced by Dell immediately after the end of their association with Western Printing. There were five issues during 1962  Vince Colletta and John Tartaglione did most of the art.

Here are some pages from issue # 3

German Classics Illustrated

BSV republished most of the 166 or so CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED that we in the US knew as kids, but then went on to do some more great titles that I don't believe ever made it into American editions. Pity...the covers look GREAT! (of these pictures, only THE SPY and THE DEER SLAYER had US versions)
The Conquest of Peru
White Queen of the Jungle
The Quest for the Holy Grail
Swedish Bear Hunt
The Ancient Mariner

Indian Adventure

The Betrayer of the Tartars

Stranded in Africa
The Spy

Crusade in Canada

The Deer Slayer
Seven Who Were Hanged

The Battle of Lepanto

Trip to the Far East
